Program & Activity Committee (PAC) For Students, By Students!
PAC is looking for high energy, fast paced, dedicated students to act as representatives for University Center fellow residents. PAC is responsible for planning building-wide programs, creating new initiatives, and recognizing the work of other residents living in the UC. Highlights include community service projects, working closely with Res Life, and planning Fall Fest & Spring Fling.
RA Programming: Resident Advisors at University Center provide up to 400 programs per semester. These programs provide residents with the opportunity to meet new people, explore the city, and learn something new! Be sure to check bulletin boards, the 2nd floor programming calendar, and the calendar on this website for more information.
Specialty Programming: Our specialty week programs are designed to raise awareness about important topics. These programs are both educational and entertaining. Be on the lookout for more awareness week information on our calendars and bulletin boards.
Wellness Series: The University Center caters to the entire student body. Our Wellness Series provides stress-free activities to help students relax, relate, and release. 2018 Wellness Series classes include Zumba (dance aerobics infused with hip hop) and Yoga (exercises to relax the body and the mind).
Service Series: The Service Series provides residents the chance to volunteer with various non-profit organizations and give back to the community. This fall we will be working with Ronald McDonald House and The American Cancer Society.
Academic Series: The Academic Series was developed to give our residents additional support outside of the class room. These programs pick up where school leaves off. This series connects residents to their member school resources, provides alternative study spaces right here where students live, and boosts morale during Midterms and Finals.
#Adulting: Programs like this have proven to be critical in the success of college students. This program is based on real life experience that college students will face and real life skills that college students will need to develop. #Adulting was designed to cultivate growth of the whole student.
